Bio
Deaconess Missionary, Shéquanda Long, is a successful large event planner & leader in the nonprofit sector. Not only is she the founder of The Encouragement Circle Inc, but she is the founder of Juneteenth Freedom Fest NYC, a cultural festival that services 5K+ annual attendees. She is also a founding board member of The NYC Juneteenth Coalition, an advocacy board for issues that affect Black & Brown communities in NYC.
With The Encouragement Circle Inc (TEC), Missionary Long is dedicated to advocating & empowering women in WNY! With a focus on holistic health-the woman’s mind, body & spirit- Long produces events, fundraisers & social advocacy projects to help benefit women. Deaconess Missionary Long is a loving wife, mother, published author, prophetic-teacher, public speaker & event coach. She believes that whatever we find our hands doing for the Lord, it should be done with excellence & with the expectation of prosperity!
